Invisalign clear aligners & teeth straightening: How do they work?
The Invisalign clear aligner system is different from traditional braces. They are custom-made, clear, removable aligners that don't need to be in place for months before they are removed.
These aligners are changed every 10 days before being replaced with new ones. Each aligner is designed to exert gentle pressure on the teeth, gradually moving them into the desired position. You can remove your aligners to eat, drink, and brush your teeth.
You should note that the color of invisible braces will change if you smoke. When you remove your aligners, be sure to rinse them with warm water.
To achieve the desired result, the optimal use of clear aligners is about 21–22 hours a day. Wearing the aligners for less time may prevent perfect alignment of both arches.
Invisalign treatment process in Turkey
A thorough dental examination is required to determine the best type of braces for your case. Ortho-panoramic X-rays, precision impressions, and intra-oral scans are taken to obtain a complete analysis of your case. A 3D model of your teeth is then created using special Invisalign software. This model allows you to visualize the final result of your treatment and simulate the fit of your teeth.
